Take some time for you

About Me

I’ve been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2018 and working out of Boreal Wellness YXE Collective since May of 2023. I like to focus on releasing fascia in my massage treatments as it is a very fascinating connective tissue that runs throughout the body covering every cell, muscle, organ and structure. I use techniques involving myofascial release and I love to incorporate myofascial cupping into my massages to help ease these restrictions that can be felt. Deeper massage can be more effective once you soften the fascia, so my massage style can be on the “lighter” side at the beginning of the treatment, but adjust pressure as I go and of course, every treatment is yours, so please communicate your pressure and technique preference.

I’ve completed my TMJ Massage TherapiesⓇ level one online course and I’m thrilled to help jaw pain sufferers.  Jaw pain can come in many forms from clenching, grinding to pain behind the eyes, ears ringing, etc.  Our jaw is one of the strongest and most used joint(s) in our body so why wouldn’t we treat it like any other joint and massage the muscles supporting it?

I’m an advocate for wide toe box shoes, nose breathing, rest and dry brushing. I’m a searcher of balance, enjoy strength training and yoga and love to talk about gardening and pollinators.  I grew up on a grain farm in central Alberta and moved to Saskatoon in the fall of 2021. I went back to school to study massage therapy in 2016, after spending close to a decade working with non profit organizations after obtaining my Bachelor of Management at the University of Lethbridge. I've always had a passion to help others and massage therapy has been the perfect fit to provide comfort, relief and a safe environment for clients of all body types and to help empower people to take action within their own bodies.

Hope to see you soon!

Testimonials

I would recommend Nicole Wold to anyone who needs a massage. She is attentive and she has really helped to release tension I was holding. She will come to you which is very ideal. I had a massage with her today and of all of the massages I have ever had this one was the best. I feel so happy and I have so much more range of motion in my neck!

Nicole's room is an oasis of calm. Peace and serenity permeate the room and envelops one immediately. Nicole is the consummate professional who is in tune with a client’s needs and provides the appropriate treatment. You know you are in safe hands the moment she begins and you leave floating on air thinking expectantly of the next treatment.
